Who it is for

Anyone who reads, approves or passes on work in which AI played a part: managers, analysts, legal and compliance, finance, regulated professions, leadership teams. No prior knowledge of Human Frontier is needed: this is the starting point, and the first half of the Advanced programme.

Learning objectives

By the end of the workshop, each participant can:

State what the certain risk is, a signature on a decision that was not examined, and name automation bias.
Place a decision in one of the three zones using the test criterion, and explain why the Human Frontier is a state, not a fixed line.
Name the four profiles and place each on two dimensions: reach of exploration with AI, and awareness of one’s own Human Frontier.
Read their own diagnostic result and state what it reveals about their current use of AI.
In concrete situations, identify the zone, decide whether the pause applies, and describe Defensive Retreat and Offensive Growth.
Apply the test criterion to three of their own recent AI-assisted decisions, and name a personal signal that they are approaching their Human Frontier.
Commit to one named type of decision to which they will apply the test criterion before signing.

Three moments are never cut: the opening, the diagnostic and the closing. Durations are indicative. A shorter Human Frontier Briefing (2 h, talk and diagnostic, no hands-on work) exists for leadership teams and kick-offs; it carries no certificate.

The common thread to Riftveil Essentials

Of the three decisions tested in the last module, each participant marks one to take further. In Riftveil Essentials, the AI output behind that decision is the one they review on five levels. The same decision is examined twice: “should a human have stopped here?”, then “what must be checked, and by whom?”. There is no time limit between the two workshops.

How it is taught

Every exercise runs in the same order: alone and in silence, then at the table, then with the whole room. Nobody is asked to share their own result, their own decisions or their own documents. A quiet corner is available for anyone who prefers not to discuss their own work in public.

How learning is checked

In the room, the trainer records for the session as a whole, never by name, whether each objective was reached.
The certificate is issued once you have attended the full workshop and completed your individual Task Profile on the training platform.
Follow-up on day 1, day 7 and day 30, by email or an optional group call.

Confidentiality

Your personal report and your workbook belong to you.
Your organisation receives attendance and an aggregated, anonymous summary, never an individual profile, result or document.
The public verification page shows only the holder’s name, the certificate and its date.

What this programme is not

Not anti-AI training and not tool training. The twelve-statement diagnostic is a self-report teaching tool, not a validated psychometric test: it describes recent work, not a person. The certificate records a completed programme. It does not certify a competence and does not make an organisation compliant with any regulation. It can form part of the record an organisation keeps of the measures it takes to develop AI literacy.
